Architectural
Rescue
Your system is failing, your infrastructure costs are out of control, or your team has stopped being able to ship. We go in, find the exact source of the problem, and fix it.
For operators whose architecture is actively costing them revenue, speed, or both.
If your system is broken, you already know it.
Most architecture problems don't announce themselves cleanly. They compound quietly — a patch here, a workaround there — until the system is too fragile to touch and too expensive to run. By the time an operator calls us, they've usually already tried to fix it twice.
The rescue starts with a diagnostic, not an assumption.
Common Failure Patterns
- ×
Infrastructure costs scale faster than revenue
Every growth milestone increases your bill, but the architecture never gets cheaper to run.
- ×
The team can't ship without breaking something
Changes in one area cascade unexpectedly. Deployments are feared, not routine.
- ×
You've patched the same problem more than once
The fix holds for a month, then the same failure resurfaces in a different form.
- ×
No single person understands the full system
Knowledge is fragmented across people, docs, and tribal memory. Onboarding takes months.
- ×
Vendor lock-in is limiting your options
A SaaS repriced, changed terms, or your roadmap is now constrained by what the vendor supports.
The Process
Diagnostic first. Remediation second.
Architectural Diagnostic
We review your system end-to-end — codebase, infrastructure, data model, dependencies, and cost structure. We identify every failure point and map the relationships between them. You get a written assessment before any remediation work begins.
Remediation Roadmap
We define the intervention — what gets fixed, in what order, and why. Not a full rewrite unless that's actually what the situation requires. Most rescues are targeted: eliminate the fragility, reduce the cost, restore the team's ability to ship.
Rescue Execution
Jason executes the remediation directly. No handoff to a junior team. The code that comes out the other side is clean, documented, and fully understood — by us and by you.
Stabilized Architecture
The engagement ends when the system is stable, costs are controlled, and your team can work in it without fear. We don't close until you can hold the whole thing in your head.
Take Action
The longer you wait, the more it compounds.
